Full-grain pebbled leather with a polished steel cable loop that won't snap off a carousel. The details card slides behind a privacy flap, so your name is visible to a baggage handler and your address isn't visible to everyone else in the hall.

Why it lasts

Most luggage tags fail at the strap — a moulded plastic loop or a thin leather tail that tears the first time a bag is dragged across a belt. This one uses a coated steel cable with a screw barrel closure, which is the same reason it takes a moment longer to fit and then stays on for years.

Care

Wipe with a dry cloth. Full-grain leather darkens and softens with handling — marks become patina rather than damage, so leave it alone and let it age. Condition once a year if it dries out.

Best for: telling your black suitcase apart from the forty other black suitcases, and the small pleasure of an object that improves with use.
