A long weekend: 3 shirts, a pair of trousers, a knit, underwear and socks, a toiletry case, and a pair of shoes in the end compartment — with the main section still closing without force. Used alongside the carry-on, it takes the overflow and the shoes, which is what turns a five-day trip into a no-check trip.

Care

Spot-clean the canvas with a damp cloth and mild soap; do not machine wash. Wipe the leather trim dry and condition occasionally. Leave the end compartment open to air after a trip.

Best for: weekends away, and as the second bag beside the carry-on on longer trips. If you check a bag on most trips, this replaces it.
